Pyramidal Cell

Bethany Image I joined the Katz lab as a second year graduate student in the summer of 2004. My undergraduate degree is in physics but I also studied mathematics and biology. I was introduced to neuroscience by Scott Hooper at Ohio University where I studied the cellular properties of the spiny lobster stomatogastric nervous system. When I arrived at Brandeis, I became interested in analyzing animal behavior using multielectrode recording techniques. As an initial project I am studying anticipatory neural activity in response to repeated tastant delivery.
