You can submit most common directory changes online. For name, major, or class year changes, visit the Registrar in Kutz or email wpregistr.
Help updating or restricting access to student information other than email address (next paragraph) is available from the Registrar. The student records system is authoritative for name, privacy preferences, and all address and telephone information. Changes made by the Registrar should be reflected in the online directory the next business day. Only the Registrar can make changes to student address information.
The online directory is authoritative for email addresses. UNet users (only) may update email addresses here Non-UNet users are encouraged to open a UNet account to get an @brandeis.edu address, but they may also contact directory@brandeis.edu. Be sure to include the exact spelling of your name as it appears in the directory, with or without middle name, etc.
Basic name and department affiliation information is updated nightly from employee records. If you are not listed, check with your department's Human Resources liaison to make sure your paperwork is in order.
Full-time faculty and staff with UNet or VMS (Binah/Din/Logos) accounts may update their own directory entries by finding themselves and clicking on the "update" link to the left of their name.
Recognized department administrators may manage the directory entries of people in their department in the same way. How do you get recognized as a department administrator? Simply try to update someone else's directory entry and you will be prompted.
There may be two unassociated directory entries for staff/faculty who opened email accounts without providing a recognized Brandeis ID number. To fix directory entries with an "Owner of the VAX account..." affiliation field, the owner of that account needs to click on the "update" link for that entry and identify themselves.
Email addresses for people who do not use the central facilities may not be here. The Computer Science Department maintains their own email system.

Student directory entries may be masked in whole or in part by privacy preferences. Contact the Registrar for more information.
