Welcome to the website for Brandeis Asian American Students Association! Here you can learn about all the different events that BAASA plans and about the history of activism in this culturally diverse and multi-racial club, the umbrella group for all Asian clubs on campus.

Hope everyone had a good first week of this semester! Welcome midyears of the class of 2015 and welcome back everyone else. BAASA has a bunch of events lined up for this semester, so sign up for the list-serve if you haven't already and be sure to check back here for more information.

If you want to know more about BAASA, you can swing by the winter involvement fair tomorrow. Our first general meeting will be sometime this month or early next month—stay tuned for details.

Lastly, as you can see by the site decorations, APAHM (Asian Pacific American Heritage Month) celebrations are due to begin in March! This year is rather special, as we're celebrating both the 40^th anniversary of BAASA and the 20^th anniversary of the ICC! APAHM opening will be March 3^rd, the SKIN fashion show on March 16^th, and APAHM closing on March 23^rd.

We wanted to thank all of our members and fellow ICC clubs organizations for all their support this past year. APAHM, SKINs Fashion Show, Pan Asian Food Night, and Wong Fu@Brandeis with SEAC and BC3 would not have been a success without all of your help. BAASA could not have grown as much as it did without you guys. So thank you :D We have big plans for the 2011-2012 year, and hope that you all will continue giving us your support.
