  This will be the first meeting of our group after Rosh Hashanah. Since it will be during Sukkot, we'll be gathering at Summit Park, with the theme 'what we want to harvest for the new year' (each of us will bring a 'first fruit' to share for dessert)--weather permitting (we meet at TBZ if weather is bad).

  The discussion will be "Resting From the Daily Grind," facilitated by Larry Diamond. The parasha discusses the importance of shabbat, the jubilee year, etc. and we will discuss how/where we are able to step back, refresh and restart -- a major challenge to all of us.

  Special screening of 'Footnote' at the West Newton Cinema at 11:00; plan to meet in the lobby around 10:45 and we will discuss on Saturday how many of us can stay together for brunch afterwards to discuss the movie.
