A Conference Celebrating Professor Rachel McCulloch

International Business School

Brandeis University

June 15, 2007

Chad P. Bown, Organizer

Hotel Information:

Unfortunately there are no convenient hotels within walking distance of campus.

We have block booked hotel rooms at the Doubletree Guest Suites Boston/Waltham (which is located in Waltham, but not within walking distance of campus), and therefore we will provide free local shuttle service to and from the conference on campus on Friday.  Note that the hotel's website is http://www.doubletree.com/en/dt/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=BOSOWDT  , tel: 1-781-890-6767,  and if you book your room by May 15 you will get the lower rate of $119+tax per night (make sure to mention International Business School, Brandeis University, and ask for this rate when making your reservation).

Reaching the Hotel from Logan Airport (Boston)

You will need to organize your own local travel from Logan Airport (Boston) to the Doubletree Hotel in Waltham. The trip covers 20 miles and takes roughly 30 minutes (+++/-) depending on rush-hour traffic.

We recommend you contact in advance our preferred car service provider, Harrison Transportation at 1-800-892-7220. If you book them in advance and give them your flight arrival information, they will tell you where they will be waiting to pick you up upon your arrival at Logan. The fee of $65 includes the tip.

Reaching Brandeis if You Are Driving

The conference itself will be held at the International Business School, Brandeis University. The physical building is called the Lemberg Academic Center [NOT the 'Lemberg Children Center' - that is another building on the opposite side of campus!], 415 South St, Waltham, MA. Directions to campus can be located here
