Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Brandeis Univ. in Waltham, MA. I'm working in the Computational Systems Biology Research Group led by Prof. Pengyu Hong.

In the past, my work centered on the Snake-like robot and the Pervasive Computing Debugger. My studies here, however, are introducing me to a biological application of computer science. A couple of new things have me excited in my new field, such as statistical machine learning techniques, building fancy user interfaces, and I am absolutely addicted to my core computer science courses. My database course, in particular, really has me excited because I finally find a way to help "someone" manage her extensive wardrobe.

High-Content Image Analysis:

We are developing a novel computing paradigm that integrates unsupervised pattern mining techniques, visual data exploration interfaces and interactive image analysis techniques to facilitate the application of the HCS technology to biomedical research. A prototype, called im CellPhen -- i nteractive m ining of cell ular phen otypes, has been realized.
