John Reynolds is an assistant professor of sociology at Florida State University and an affiliate of the Claude Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy. His research focuses on social inequality in education, employment, and health. He is currently studying the impact of recent educational trends and structural shifts in the economy on job security and worker well-being. His most recent publications include "The Contingent Meaning of Neighborhood Stability for Residents' Psychological Well-being" in American Sociological Review (Forthcoming), with Catherine E. Ross and Karlyn Geis; and "Age, Depression, and Attrition in the National Survey of Families and Households" in Sociological Methods and Research (2000) with John Mirowsky. | |
