Susan F. Sharp is an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Oklahoma. Her areas of expertise include medical sociology, deviance, and gender. She is currently engaged in research on correlates of adolescent suicide attempts, eating disordered behavior as deviance, and the effects of the death penalty on families of offenders.
