Irene H. Yen, is an epidemiologist with the Institute for Health and Aging at UCSF. She is one of the designers of the California Work and Health Survey. In addition to work and health, her research interests focus on the influence of neighborhood and work social environment on health behaviors and health status and the health effects of racial discrimination.
