My name is Duncan Levear and I study mathematics at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, USA. I started here in Fall of 2015 as a PhD student. My area of interest is known as algebraic combinatorics, and my advisor is Olivier Bernardi.
In Spring 2019, I am a teaching assistant for MATH40A, Intro to Applied Mathematics. This means that I grade your homework and hold open office hours. If you have questions, feel free to come by or e-mail me.
If you need to use LaTeX, I suggest the site overleaf.com. It is a free online LaTeX environment, which offers cloud storage and revision history.
I have some dormant interest in Computer Science and Applied Math. Sometimes I like to solve programming problems on spoj.com. For a long time I used C++, but these days I use mostly Python because of Sage.
