My name is Duncan Levear and I study mathematics at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, USA. I started here in Fall of 2015 as a PhD student. My area of interest is known as combinatorics, and my advisor is Olivier Bernardi.
In Spring 2020, I am co-teaching a brand-new course MATH80B: Puzzles, Games and Graphs (syllabus) with my colleague Rose Morris-Wright. Course information is available for students on LATTE.
I have some dormant interest in Computer Science and Applied Math. Sometimes I like to solve programming problems on spoj.com. For a long time I used C++, but these days I use mostly Python because of Sage.
