Mieido Shrine Altar
The main altar of the Mieido is centered on a life-like statue of the founder. To the right of the altar is located the bathtub (ofuro) of the founder, in which the water of the kami is ritually purified during the Dragon Princess ceremony.
Each morning, a worshipper brings an offering of water to this subshrine and lights incense in honor of the founder. (see Immortal Wishes, p. 133)
