Prenter Water Fund Speakers

Mathew Louis-Rosenberg and Glen Collins came to Brandeis today to discuss the effects of mountaintop removal coal mining on the citizens of Prenter, WV. Their organization, the Prenter Water Fund is working with the citizens of Prenter to bring them clean water until the local government provides a more permanent solution.

They were incredibly knowledgeable and the questions from attendees were great. Thanks to Mat and Glen for coming all the way up to the Boston area, as well as the Ethics Center for their help and funding, and to our cosponsors the Environmental Science, Chemistry, and Sociology Departments, SEA, Gen. Ed. Now, and Positive Foundations.
