I am an assistant professor of philosophy at Brandeis University. My research and teaching interests include Kant, ethics, and political philosophy. I also have interests in the history of philosophy and the philosophy of education.

My recent work centers on Kant's idea of the highest good, and the importance of community in Kant's account of moral development and moral progress.

Among the projects I am currently pursuing is an investigation into notions of dependence and interdependence in Kant's ethics -- both in his account of moral life and his account of moral epistemology.
