Annual Will It Blend? Dance: Januay 26th, 2008; January 31, 2009
The Mixed-Heritage Club started off with a bang at our amazingly successful launch dance, and then pulled it off again! Music and lighting provided by the incomparable Peter from Boston Sound Choice.
APAHM Event, Hapa: March 24, 2008
We joined forces with the Asian culture clubs on campus with our screening and discussion of Hapa: One Step at a Time, a documentary about what it means to be half Asian in America, for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
Annual Mixed Monologues: April 1, 2008; April 6, 2009
In a showcase that brought out the talent of the Mixed-Heritage Club, members wrote and recited poems, monologues, and stories about race and being "mixed."
First On-Campus Speaker: March 2, 2009
Speaker Eric Hamako presented his hugely popular talk, "Monsters, Messiahs, or Something Else? Mixed Race in Science Fiction," Co-Sponsored by the Brandeis Official Readers' Guild.
