Welcome to Brandeis University's Pre-Vet Club, a club dedicated not only to prospective veterinary students, but to any student with a love of animals. This web page is designed to educate the students about the club and what we are all about. If you would like to join the mailing list, there is a link at the bottom of the page. Mission Statement: This club seeks to both educate and advise pre-veterinary students on what it is like to work in this field and how to successfully apply to veterinary school. We also wish to incorporate the Brandeis community by educating the community on animal care and by providing animal care community service opportunities. We will focus on assisting pre-vet students in the admissions process by providing advising resources, information sessions, talks by admissions people and easy access to information necessary for successfully applying to vet school through pamphlets and a website. We will educate students on the breadth of the field and what it is like to work in this field through guest speakers. Given that extensive experience in the field is a pre-requisite to applying to most veterinary schools, we will provide assistance in this process through information sessions and by listing places where other Brandeis students and alumnae have worked on our website.
