The Midterm will cover the material we did through Monday, October 13: Chapter 11.1-11.4, Chapter 13.1-13.7, and Chapter 14.1-14.4 (only part of 14.3). Each chapter has quite a few review problems; I have suggested some to work on. As for the regular problems, there are solutions in the book to the odd-numbered ones; I will post solutions to the even ones early next week. You might find the "concept check" sections of each chapter review, as well as true-false quizzes, to be helpful.
Chapter 11 (pp. 733-734): 3,4,6,11,12,13, 15,19,22,23,27,31 (and find the angle that the curves make at the intersection points), 34,37.
Chapter 13 (pp. 881-882): 1,3,5,6,7,8 (Unless you have a lot of time to kill, use theorem on p. 854 instead of multiplying all this out.), 15,19,20,28,29,31,32(should look familiar from the quiz), 37,38, 40,41,42,43,44,45.
Chapter 14 (pp. 918-919): 1,2,5,8,9,17,18,21.
