In March each year the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives and its partners including the Society for Neuroscience sponsor Brain Awareness Week. The week is a key part of an ongoing effort to increase public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research.
As part of the 2008 observance of Brain Awareness Week, Professor Robert Sekuler had a chance to discuss the human brain with a group of 75 eager and enthusiastic fourth graders from the Mount Pleasant Elementary School in Livington, New Jersey. Here are some pictures from this event.
