Part i. In each of the following pairs, does sentence (a) entail sentence (b)?
Part ii. For each pair,
- if you said 'yes' to part (i), does sentence (b) entail sentence (a)?
- If you said 'no' to part (i), draw a (very minimal/schematic) picture of the situation in which sentence (a) is true, while sentence (b) is false.
Or describe (very clearly) that situation in words.

b. In cases of lexical and category ambiguity, circle or highlight the word which is ambiguous. For structural ambiguity, provide non-ambiguous paraphrases.
