Kelly Stippich
My mom Kelly left us December 15th, 2011. We found out November 14, 2011 that she had stage IV cancer wreaking havoc in her body. It is still a shock that she passed away so quickly. It took a lot of tests, CT scans, blood labs, specialists, nurses, doctors, and travel to figure out that she had cancer. My mother and her husband Jim own their own business and she did not have health insurance. Mom had been crossing her fingers to remain in good health till Medicare kicked in. At the heartbreakingly young age of 62, the gamble didn't pay off. At a visit over Thanksgiving, I was told the bills totalled $12,000 already.
