About us: Brandeis students are matched with a local child in a one-on-one mentoring program. Students spend between 2-4 hours per week with their little sibling and have the opportunity to take part in group events. Different programs under our umbrella: Not applicable. Where program meets: Each volunteer will determine where they meet their little sibling in conjunction with the child’s parent(s) (not necessary to provide own transportation, but car useful). Days/Hours of program: 2-4 hours weekly chosen by the student. Commitment required from volunteers: This program requires a regular commitment of 2-4 hours per week. Rough number of volunteers currently involved: 25. Helpful skill sets to participate: Patience, dedication, independence, and initiative. Application, training, and/or interview required?: All potential big siblings will be interviewed and attend a brief training session. Documents
