About us: We seek to eradicate and/or alleviate hunger and homelessness in the Different programs under our umbrella: Volunteering at Sandra’s Lodge, a homeless shelter, volunteering at the Red Cross, and volunteering at Bristol Lodge, a soup kitchen. We also run the yearly fundraiser, Halloween for the Hungry. Where program meets: In the Waltham area (transportation provided). Days/Hours of program: Sandra’s Lodge- once a week, Red Cross- once a week, Bristol Lodge- once a semester. Commitment required from volunteers: Some programs need a regular commitment, some do not. Rough number of volunteers currently involved: 20-40 Helpful skill sets for volunteers to have: Enthusiasm and reliability. Application, training, and/or interview required?: No | ||||||
