About us: We are an alternative spring break organization that provides a unique opportunity for students to participate in weeklong community service projects around the country.
Different programs under our umbrella: Not applicable.
Where program meets: On campus, pre-trip meetings October – February. February break spent off-campus.
Days/Hours of program: VThe week of February break (This year, the week of 2/15/09).
Commitment required from volunteers: Events spaced throughout the year.
Rough number of volunteers currently involved: Volunteer Vacations recruits approximately 30 volunteers each year.
Helpful skill sets for volunteers to have: Prior volunteer experience is helpful, but not required. A sense of adventure or the desire to try something new!
