Welcome to Brandeis University's

Who We Are

We are a student-run organization that operates without
any political agenda or alliance.
Our members are all part of the Brandeis Community and our core
organizational staff is comprised entirely of undergraduates.

What We Do

We provide a safe space for women and serve as a resource
for the general Brandeis Community.
We have an extensive library of resources, including almost 1000 books,
periodicals, films and documentaries dealing with a variety
of women's issues that are all available for loan.
Topics include feminist theory, violence against women, sexuality,
reproductive issues, body image, aging, employment, female health
and women in the creative arts.
And this is only the tip of the iceberg.
And, of course, we are always looking to expand our collection
so, please, if you have a book or other item relating to
women's issues, consider donating it to our center so that
others may enjoy it.

What we are not, however, is a counseling service,
nor are our members trained to provide anything other than
a nonjudgemental, listening ear.
So if you are in crisis, and need to speak to someone, please
check out our
resources page.

How To Reach Us

Want to get involved?
Attend club meetings: Monday nights, 7pm, in the Center!
The location of the Center is room 162 in the Usdan Student Center.
Simply go upstairs of WBRS and follow the signs.
Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm.
During these hours, there will be someone on hand to answer any questions
and to assist with library searches.
The Center extension is x64745.
(That's (781)736-4745 if you are calling from off-campus).
Or e-mail us at
Brandeis Women's Resource Center.
