  • The Bunting Institute- the nation's premiere multidisciplinary center of advanced studies for women scholars, writers, artists and activists. Located in Cambridge, MA.
  • Feminism and Women's Resource Page- a great internet resource for all things women-related.
  • Feminist.Com- information on activism, women's health issues, women owned businesses, and resources and links.
  • Herspace- a unique network of diverse websites for women.
  • Femina- offers extensive links of special relevance to women in several fields. Check out their web page or use their search engine directly located at the bottom of this page.
  • The Pleiades Network- offers help on using the Internet for exploration and networking, forums for discussion on various topics, and connections-links to organizations and businesses by and for women. "A place for women to convene and share ideas in a comfortable and engaging environment."
  • Feminism BBS- statistics show that women represent a significantly lower percentage of Internet users than men. By providing more cyberspace for female net users, this site to bring up issues of women rights and encourage more discussions concerning these issues on the internet.

  • Advancing Women - features stories on women in the news, as well as information on the workplace, communication, international organizations, finances, and Web links.
  • The Feminist Career Center- features listings of jobs, internships, and positions wanted, as well as a collection of on-line job-banks in the career information section.
  • The Women's Bureau- the U.S. Department of Labor's Web site with information on the bureau's activities and fact sheets on women in the workplace.
  • The Office of Women's Business Ownership- the U.S. Small Business Administration maintains extensive links to census data and various other federal agency information of relevance to women in the workplace. The external resource list is also quite extensive.

  • Documents From the Women's Liberation Movement- the materials in this on-line archival collection document various aspects of the Women's Liberation Movement in the United States, and focus specifically on the radical origins of this movement during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Items range from radical theoretical writings to humourous plays to the minutes of an actual grassroots group.

  • Harvard Medical School's Center of Excellence in Women's Health- established to evaluate a new model health care system that unites women's health research, medical training, clinical care, public health education, community outreach, and the promotion of women in health professions around a common mission to improve the heath status of diverse women across the life span.
  • The Center for Women's Health (at Harvard)- a non-profit scientific and educational center dedicated to clinical and basic research in the application of mind/body medicine to women's health.
  • Women First HealthCare, Inc.- a specialty health care company that is dedicated to improving the health of midlife women.
  • The Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition- through activism, advocacy and education, this group's goal is the cure, prevention and ultimate eradication of breast cancer.
  • A Woman's Place is in The Know- a guide to coronary artery disease and women, from the Partnership for Women's Health at Columbia University.
