Hello!
At Bluff, the southernmost town in New Zealand

Starting August 2017, I will be at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany.

I was a postdoctoral instructor at the Mathematics Department at Brandeis University from 2014-2017. In May 2014, I received a PhD from the Mathematics Department at Rice University, working with Tim Cochran.

My research is in low-dimensional topology, particularly knot theory and its applications towards 3- and 4-manifolds. Here is a link to my papers on the arXiv.
