Conference on 4-manifolds and knot concordance

Max Planck Institute for Mathematics
The goal of this conference was to bring together established and early-career researchers to discuss a range of topics from low-dimensional topology. It was part of the trimester programme on Topology at the Hausdorff Institute for Mathematics running from September-December, 2016.
Here are the notes from our problem session.

Travel information
See this link for travel information. More information can be found here. International visitors should be aware that it is often significantly cheaper to fly into Dusseldorf (DUS) or Frankfurt (FRA) and take the train to Bonn, rather than to fly directly to Cologne/Bonn (CGN). Getting to Bonn from these airports by train is straightforward and does not require extensive knowledge of German. As the conference approaches, there will be a signup for participants who are arriving at similar times and would like to travel to Bonn together.
If you need any further assistance, please contact us at knot2016@mpim-bonn.mpg.de.
