PAPER TOPIC III

Matrix 1

If you cannot rule out the possibility that you are dreaming or under the control of an Evil Demon or a brain-in-a-vat or in a matrix, you may have beliefs, but you cannot have genuine knowledge, that is, you may believe things; you just cannot know them.

Or is that not the way to put it? Perhaps you can know them. Perhaps you do

What do you think?

Make an argument for or against knowing and/or not knowing certain hypotheses about the world, think of several powerful objections to your arguments and respond to them.
