Brandeis
ACS Student Affiliate Chapter
Started
by a group of undergraduates in the fall of 2009, the Brandeis University
Student Affiliate Chapter of the American Chemical Society provides undergraduates
majoring in chemistry (or with a strong interest in chemistry) with
opportunities to enhance their experience in the chemistry department outside
of the classroom. In addition to
offering career development and intra-department social networking
opportunities, the chapter aims to provide opportunities for young chemists to
bring their knowledge and enthusiasm about chemistry into the local community
through outreach activities.The group
meets ~monthly. Interested students
should contact one of the Chemistry UDRs (Rhea, Dan, or Emily) or Prof. Christine Thomas, or just attend one of our
upcoming events listed below.
